Home Accessories You Already Own
written by Gail Adkins
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “I don’t have any accessories. I need to shop for new thing-a-ma-bobs.” Well, you probably have more of those “miscellaneous unspecified objects” than you realize and many of them have quite interesting stories to tell that will make your personality shine in your home.
Some of these hidden treasures may have sentimental meanings for you; some may just tickle your funny-bone. At any rate, you’re bound to find something that will make your surroundings shine with your uniqueness. These are the things that warm your home and your heart. They spark your guest’s curiosity and spur comments about how your home feels so “you”.
There are myriad personal possessions that make wonderful statements about you and your style, if you’d just dig them out from their hiding places.
Search your home. Surprise yourself.
You can bet I can work some change magic with your unused, overused, and underused thing-a-ma-bobs. That’s just one of the many ways I love to help you discover how special your home can be.
Granted, you may need to add something new. But, give it a shot. Search your home first and show me what you find and I’ll find a way to display your hidden treasures.
